Bank Robbery In Hull, Texas

At approximately 9:17am on Wednesday morning a lone robbery suspect entered the Texas State Bank on FM 834 in Hull, Texas and handed the teller a note demanding cash. No weapon was displayed to the three people in the bank at that time.

The robbery suspect fled the bank driving a gray passenger vehicle with the most distinguishing item on the vehicle being one of the front wheels being of a different color than the others.

According to Liberty County Sheriff’s Lead Investigator James R. McQueen the suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s to 30’s wearing a black jacket, a black baseball cap with a logo on the front, black gloves and light colored khaki pants. He is reported to have put an undisclosed amount of money into a silver colored bag before fleeing the bank.

Investigator McQueen is asking the public in that area to review their business or home security video in an effort to see if the suspect or his vehicle can be seen on their system. In the meantime the bank security camera footage is being reviewed for the same purpose by the Sheriff’s Investigators and Federal authorities who are working jointly on this robbery.

Anyone with information leading to the identity and arrest of this suspect is requested to call the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office at (936) 336-4500 or Multi-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-STOP (7867). The identity of anyone providing information to Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous. (END)
