“Liberty County Sheriff Bobby Rader, in background, presented Joseph Leal, far left, and employees, a plaque for their Community Service while several LCSO employees looks on”.

It has been said many times that an Army travels on its stomach. No less can be said about Law Enforcement personnel and First Responders who, so often, are dealing with difficult situations in remote locations where something as simple as food and water are lacking.

Sheriff Rader recently expressed his gratitude to business owner Joseph Leal and his employees by saying, “ We want to thank everybody that supports law enforcement, and recently one business was there every time we turned around. On behalf of the LCSO we wanted to show our gratitude and appreciation to Big Frank’s BBQ for the many occasions they’ve helped and brought us food during our extended searches with Texas EquuSearch, as well as bringing food to the Sheriff’s Office so that our deputies are able to eat on the go. To show our appreciation we had a plaque made for Joseph Leal to express our appreciation to him and his employees for all that they do for us here at the Sheriff’s Office”. (END)

Thank you,

Capt. Ken DeFoor
