PRESS RELEASE REGARDING DEBIT/CREDIT CARD CASE(S) BY LIBERTY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying subjects in reference to credit/debit card abuse cases that have been occurring in and around the Liberty County area in recent weeks.

According to Sheriff’s lead Investigator J.R. McQueen, these suspects have apparently gone to several ATM’s throughout the City of Liberty and other locations in the county using several different cards. McQueen said it appears these cards are copied due to the fact the victims have reported to have the original cards in their possession at the time of the transactions.

Both subjects are seen in all ATM videos and are seen driving a black Nissan Titan four door vehicle and other times a white four door SUV. It is believed by Investigator McQueen that several other cases involving these two suspects will be forthcoming.

If anyone has any information as to the identity of these two suspects they are ask to call Investigator McQueen at the Sheriff’s Office at (936) 336-4500 or the Multi-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-7867.  All “tipsters” to the Crime Stoppers number will remain anonymous and can receive a cash reward up to $1,000. for information leading to the suspects arrest. (END)
