Traffic Stop Results in Drug Arrest


On Thursday, October 5th at approximately 10:45pm, a Liberty County Sheriff’s Drug Interdiction unit was working the Knight’s Forest area in mid-county when they conducted a traffic stop on a 4 wheeler and a pick-up truck that was following it. The operator of the truck was identified as Chelsea Lane Glover and the operator of the 4 wheeler was identified as Thomas Arthur Lambert. Both live in the Knight’s Forest Sub-Division.


The dispatcher advised that Glover did not have a valid driver’s license. An inventory of the vehicle was conducted and a plastic baggy containing approximately 3.43 grams of suspected Methamphetamine was found and Glover was arrested. They dispatcher further notified the deputy that Lambert had an outstanding warrant for “Probation Violation” and he was arrested as well. Both subjects were transported to the Liberty County jail without incident.


Chelsea Lane Glover, DOB 12-13-92 was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance which is a 3rd. degree felony while Thomas Arthur Lambert, DOB 1-24-76 was arrested on the Revocation Of Probation ( Harrassment) warrant. (END)
